Apart from listening to music, watching movies & TV shows, picking up podcasts, playing games, browsing the Internet, the Apple iPhone also works as an HD camera, with which you can take photos on the go. From time to time, you may flip through the photos in the Camera Roll to recall the best moments. So why not make a slideshow of the photos to bring them to life? Why not share the photos with your family and friends? To do so, Windows Movie Maker is a pretty good tool.
As part of Windows Essentials 2012, Windows Movie Maker offers the ability to create slideshows with pictures and videos, and then publish them to SkyDrive, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and Flickr, save them to movie files to fit various phones and devices, burn them to DVD discs, and more.
In order to import iPhone recorded photos into Windows Movie Maker, you will need to transfer the photos from iPhone to PC first. In this post, I’d like to show you how to transfer pictures from iPhone to PC using Wireless Transfer App.
1. Download and install Wireless Transfer App onto iPhone and PC.
Note: Make sure iPhone and PC are connected to the same WiFi network.
2. Run Wireless Transfer App on iPhone and then find the HTTP URL at the bottom of the screen.
3. Launch Wireless Transfer App on PC. Input the device address (HTTP URL) as exactly shown on iPhone. Then hit the Enter button to load iPhone photos and videos.
4. Download selected or all photos to a folder in PC.
When the iPhone photos are transferred to PC, you can then import them into Windows Movie Maker and start to create slideshows with photos taken with iPhone.
So can I make photo slideshows directly on my iPhone?
The answer is YES and the only app you need is Photo Slideshow Director.
With Photo Slideshow Director, you can easily turn photos in your iPhone camera roll, Facebook photos albums, Flickr photo albums, Picasa photo albums, etc. into vivid slideshow movie, decorated with background songs, transitions, themes, text and more. You can choose to stream the slideshow to HDTV, save the slideshow to photo library and even share the slideshow on YouTube and Facebook.
